The 7Hz x HBB Elua is a premium IEM collaboration between 7Hz, a renowned IEM manufacturer, and HBB (Hawaii Bad Boy), one of the most influential audio reviewers worldwide. Known for their remarkable sound and quality, 7Hz has joined forces with HBB to create the Elua, a dual dynamic driver IEM designed to provide a balanced and analytical sound signature. Featuring a 10mm and 8mm liquid crystal polymer (LCP) diaphragm dynamic drivers, the Elua delivers an immersive, detailed, and well-rounded audio experience that will please audiophiles and professionals alike.
Dual Dynamic Driver Configuration
The Elua features a dual dynamic driver configuration. A 10mm liquid crystal polymer (LCP) diaphragm dynamic driver and an 8mm LCP dynamic driver are combined to produce a full and engaging sound. The new upgraded LCP diaphragm allows stronger tensile strength for a more responsive sound while reducing distortion levels. Additionally, an extremely powerful N52 neodymium magnets power the drivers. Compared to typical hybrid configuration IEM’s, the utilization of two dynamic drivers made of the same diaphragm allows complete coherence across the frequency range, with seamless integration in the sound.
Balanced Sound Signature
The use of two separate drivers allow extreme precision in engineering the sound of the Elua. The Elua features a strong sub-bass shelf, with a thunderous 10dB worth of subwoofer-like bass. Precision tuning allows a complete flat midrange that enhances a studio-monitor-like sound signature for tonal accuracy, mimicking a live studio recording. The treble is extremely pristine, with a perfect tonal curvature in reference to the human ear’s perceived treble range. The Elua sounds powerful, balanced, and well-detailed for an analytical and professional sound.
Detachable Cable Design
The Elua comes standard with a custom 4-core detachable cable. The cable terminates with 0.78mm 2-pin connectors,allowing users to mix and match cables for prolonged longevity as well as a customizable listening experience.
