very good DAC

In terms of operation and settings, this DAC is absolutely top. It has a great display, everything is very easy to read, even from a distance, it's really the best thing I've seen so far. The remote control is also absolutely great. I can't quite judge the sound yet, I've only just started using the DAC. A comparison with a topping E70Velvet depends a bit on the amplifier. So I have a Rotel in the living room and an Advance Paris in the office. The topping works better with the Advance Paris, it sounds fuller, warmer and deeper. With the Rotel, the sound is fairly balanced between the two DACs. But as I said, that's my first impression, I would need at least a rainy weekend for a more detailed analysis. All in all, it's great and the I2S input is still there, which I still have to try. First I connected an SMSL SD-9 to the DAC and the sound is very good. I have to test whether it has any advantages over USB, but my first impression was that the sound is fuller, with a bit more detail.

Worst company I ever bought from online in my 32 year long life.

Been trying to buy a pair of yan yin canon II now for two weeks time. paying everything upfront and also a cable to that. on the page it say nothing that the cable is not in stock. waited for a week and heard nothing. I started to chat with them but no reply at all there and they got back to me 2 days later via mail.

Just told me "the cable is not in stock, need to wait or is it ok to take a cable with other color." and I said its okay to take an other color just wished you asked me this a week ago."

Then I waited three days because the shipping company did not give me any updates. So I chatted with them again and they say "no sorry cable is not in stock. need to wait."

???? then I just asked them to refund me because this is the worst experience I ever had shopping online. they told me no its not possible because its gonna ship now. and now I have been waiting three days more and the shipping company tells me that they have made a note that they gonna ship but nothing has yet been shipped.

I just wish that I bought this from an other shop I would have had my IEMs since a long time ago... its just so disappointed because I read the reviews here and thought this was a serious company but I guess the reviews is bought or something because the customer service is just a plain joke.

stay away is the best advice I can give you if you dont want to get into the same mess as me.

While making this review they just sended me an email that its shipped now so we'll see if there is something on the way now... I update this review later if I get something in the mail... but even if I will get it now I will never ever buy from this company again since this have made me so much headache.

The SMSL DL200 is a very nice sounding dac and a full-featured unit. The design seems a little odd (at least in pictures), but in reallity looks great.
Keep in mind that is bigger than his brother C200, that it replaces.
The shipping was fast and the packaging was solid, so a big plus for HiFi Cat.

Great little device

Smsl su-1 is a great little device. Sound is detailed with much clarity on both spectrums. It plays much over his price class. Very recommend.

In my limited comparisons of few tracks, the losslessly-encoded copies of CDs sound as good as the CDs themselves.
