CVJ has built the Kumo from the ground up with a high-precision CNC machining process using aviation-grade aluminium alloy material!! CVJ Kumo is an all-BA set with a total of 16 high-performance balanced armature drivers on the pair. It packs an 8-driver arrangement on each side with carefully chosen high-quality driver units. The pair houses four units of 31736 BA drivers for high and ultra-high frequency regions, two 29689 for crispy midrange and two 22955 for a strong, tight, precise lower-end response.
CVJ has equipped the latest Kumo with four tuning switches on each side. Toggle the stunning switches to freely adjust the output to your liking and customize different frequencies. It offers over a dozen tuning styles, explore them all and find your perfect one yourself.
In order to get the best out of each driver unit and help them work coherently with each other, CVJ has adjusted the 8 drivers using a precise Electronic crossover circuit. This helps in getting clear, crisp sound quality with lower distortion.
Further optimizing and enhancing the overall performance of the CVJ Kumo, the brand has used high-quality dampeners from Knowles to adjust the output of each driver section. The acoustic tubes connected to the drivers have got these dampeners that helped CVJ achieve their desired tuning profile with the set.
CVJ Kumo IEMs are crafted using a high-precision CNC machining process. The shells are made up of high-quality aviation-grade aluminium alloy material. They look well-built and have a premium in-hand feel. The shell has a rich matte finish and offers an elegant experience to the users. Not to mention, CVJ built the shells using an ergonomic design so as to provide a comfortable fit for most users.
CVJ bundles the Kumo with a high-purity silver-plated cable. The cable here has a 200-core 8-strand configuration with 0.75mm 2-pin connectors and a replaceable termination plug system. We get 2.5mm+3.5mm+4.4mm plus that users can replace themselves whenever required.
