Noise doesn’t just travel through signal lines—it also rides along USB power. USB Noise Termination® technology removes noise at the USB power input itself, stopping interference at the source before it reaches your DAC or audio equipment.
The iDefender MAX includes a dedicated USB-C power input that completely bypasses USB power supplied by your computer. This allows you to power your system using a cleaner external source, dramatically reducing noise contamination from PCs and laptops.
Unlike basic ground-lift devices that can compromise safety, the iDefender MAX continuously monitors current flow. In the event of a fault—such as a short circuit or current surge—it automatically reconnects the earth, ensuring excess current is safely directed away from your equipment.
Supporting input power up to 100W (20V / 5A), the iDefender MAX goes far beyond traditional USB DAC applications. With full support for USB 3.0 and backwards compatibility with USB 2.0, it ensures high-speed data transfer and flawless playback of high-resolution audio files.

The iFi iPower2 is an ultra-quiet, ultra-clean audiophile-grade power supply, featuring our proprietary Active Noise Cancellation II technology to cancel out all incoming extraneous noise. This technology allows it to be more than 10 times quieter than typical audiophile power supplies.
A new tariff system will take effect across all 27 EU member states starting 1 July 2026. The EU is abolishing the duty exemption for low-value parcels — all goods entering the EU will now be subject to customs duties, including a fixed duty of €3 per HS tariff code category for IOSS-declared goods under €150.
A handling surcharge of USD $5 has been applied to all standard shipments to EU countries on orders under $500. Orders over $500 qualify for free expedited shipping.
