S.M.S.L VMV D1se is the latest MQA Desktop DAC in their premium VMV lineup of products. It houses all the advanced features of a high-tech DAC such as a flagship decoding chip, high-performance USB signal receiver chip, premium audio circuitry, and more. The S.M.S.L VMV D1se brings the true potential out of your audio chain with its class-leading audio signal decoding performance.
S.M.S.L has equipped the VMV D1se with ES9038Pro flagship-grade Sabre DAC chip. IT is a 32-bit eight-channel DAC chip providing the highest standard of audio signal decoding with ultra-low distortion, clean background, and hi-res bitrate support. It enables the D1se to achieve up to 130dB SNR ratings and ultra-low distortion of just 0.00009%.
The USB signal is being received by a high-performance XMOS XU216 16-core signal receiver chip. IT is a 32-Bit USB audio signal receiver that takes the audio signal straight to the DAC chip for decoding. It supports PCM up to 32-Bit/768kHz and DSD512 natively.
The DAC chip is powered independently by ES9311 a dedicated power supply chip. It ensures peak performance with the DAC by providing it ultra-clean power with very low noise.
S.M.S.L VMV D1se has received the required certification to fully decode and render the MQA files. MQA(Master Quality Authenticated) is a new digital encoding format designed to encapsulate audio streams with extremely high sampling rates in sufficiently small files to make them suitable for network streaming media transmission.
Users can feed high-quality audio signal to VMV D1se over wireless Bluetooth connection. The device supports latest Bluetooth V5.0 connectivity with AptX/AAC/SBC wireless transmission protocol support.
S.M.S.L VMV D1se features premium audio circuitry with high-quality Japanese nichicon KG series filter capacitors and low-noise power supply circuits ensuring a sweet and natural performance. The power supply offers silent high-quality performance thanks to a high-grade sealed toroidal transformer.
A new tariff system will take effect across all 27 EU member states starting 1 July 2026. The EU is abolishing the duty exemption for low-value parcels — all goods entering the EU will now be subject to customs duties, including a fixed duty of €3 per HS tariff code category for IOSS-declared goods under €150.
