It symbolizes the Eastern God associated with Emperor Taihao and the seven constellations of the East. In traditional Chinese philosophy, it corresponds to the Bagua elements of Zhen and Xun and represents Wood in the Five Elements. The Azure Dragon embodies the Shaoyang in the Four Symbols and represents the season of Spring.
