DMT5 Dual Magnetic Circuit Dual Cavity Dynamic Driver
The 10mm DMT5 driver features a fully transparent large magnetic circuit structure that maximizes space utilization within the driver housing. The dual magnetic circuit increases magnetic flux density and field uniformity in the voice coil gap, while the dual cavity structure precisely manages the air load on both sides of the diaphragm. The result: longer diaphragm excursion, stronger low-frequency dynamics, and better large-signal response. The diaphragm system has been re-matched to the DMT5 magnetic circuit via finite element modal analysis, optimizing displacement distribution, stress, boundary compliance, and high-frequency modal behavior.

PURE-Hi Ultra-High Frequency Balanced Armature
The dedicated PURE-Hi BA driver handles the extreme treble extension, overtones, and air that a dynamic driver alone would struggle to reproduce cleanly at high loads. By offloading the ultra-high frequency range to the BA, the DMT5 dynamic driver can focus entirely on low, mid, and fundamental treble frequencies — resulting in a more complete and harmonious sound. Compared to the original OLA's THD of <0.3% at 1kHz/94dB, the OLA II achieves THD of 0.03% — a 10× reduction in distortion.

Coaxial Driver Architecture
The DMT5 dynamic driver and PURE-Hi BA are placed on the same acoustic axis. Different frequency bands enter the ear canal along a closer, more unified acoustic axis, reducing imaging shift caused by driver position differences. The result is higher direct-sound ratio, more focused imaging, precise treble, and more coherent vocals and instruments across the full frequency range.

Helmholtz Rear Cavity for Vocal Density
The rear cavity is engineered as a large Helmholtz resonator. Through the combination of cavity volume, acoustic neck geometry, and rear cavity air compliance, it establishes stable energy support in the vocal frequency band. Male vocals are grounded and full-bodied; female vocals have structure and presence. Midrange instruments are clearly outlined, while overall listenability remains high.

DSP Type-C Version with 8-Band PEQ
The DSP Type-C version uses the same DSP-Master performance platform, supporting 384kHz/32-bit decoding and 8-band parametric EQ via the TANCHJIM App. Users can adjust center frequency, gain, and Q value for each band — preserving the original tuning or customizing by music genre, source device, ear tip, or personal preference. The TANCHJIM App community also provides access to shared EQ presets and tuning profiles.

The faceplate is precision CNC-machined from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, paired with a transparent PC cavity that reveals the internal acoustic structure. Optimized based on 3,000+ ear scan data points, the shell curvature, nozzle angle, and support positions are recalibrated for a secure, fatigue-free fit even during extended listening sessions.

Litz Silver-Plated Copper Cable
The included cable uses a Litz twisted silver-plated copper structure, reducing electrical interference between conductors and minimizing high-frequency loss. The silver-plated copper conductor balances conductivity with high-frequency transmission performance, while the twisted Litz structure further improves stability and EMI rejection.
