Tripowin has collaborated with renowned audio reviewer Hawaiian Bad Boy (HBB) of Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews. With an extensive repertoireof IEM and headphones in his graph database and years of experience with HiFi equipment, HBB has applied his expertise in IEM tonality for the Kailua project.

【Dual Dynamic Driver Innovation】

The Kailua features a combination of 10mm diamond-like carbon (DLC) titanium-coated diaphragm driver and a 6mm titanium-coated composite diaphragm driver. The DLC diaphragm dynamic driver has long been an industry standard in the HiFi audio world, beloved for its technical and tonal performance. By coating the latest generation of DLC membrane with ultra-thin layers of titanium, we are able to achieve even greater tensile strength acrossthe diaphragm, enhancing its responsiveness and speed. By using the same titanium-coating strategy for both the 10mm and 6mm drivers, the Kailua achieves extreme cohesiveness, despite their crossover.

【High Technical Performance】

The Kailua’s titanium-coated drivers achieves extreme resolution on both the low ends as well as the upper treble, thanks to the drivers’ quick speeds. The sub-bass features fast attacks, and a naturally warm low-mids allow a rich texture to bass-guitar and instrument fundamental frequencies. The treble is meticulously tuned to be full of detail without any unnatural dips or peaks. The titanium-coating allows excellent upper-treble extension past +15kHz, providing fantastic air and technicalities in the sound. With a total harmonic distortion (THD) less than 0.5% of the overall output, the Kailua packs incredible audio quality with a small footprint.

【Detachable High-purity Cable】

The Kailua comes standard with a detachable 2-pin 0.78mm cable. The cable is constructed of high-purity OCC copper, and is ready to deliver a transparent sound free of any distortions. The detachable cable also extends the longevity of the earphones, as you can simply swap out the cable to any similar 2-pin cable in the future.
