The DM15 adopts a dual AKM AK4493S DAC configuration renowned for exceptional dynamic range, warm natural timbre, and an incredibly clean noise floor. Enhanced by dual OPA1642 low-pass filters and dual SGM8262 amplifiers, the signal path remains pure from disc to your ears. As a USB DAC, it supports up to 384kHz/32-bit PCM and native DSD256 — delivering the classic CD sound with modern resolving power.
At the heart of the DM15 is a meticulously engineered five-core architecture: a dedicated CD servo, high-performance USB bridge, Bluetooth module, dual DAC module, and an independent MCU. Each core handles its task without interference, resulting in a pristine, stable audio experience whether you’re spinning CDs, streaming wirelessly, or using it as a USB DAC.
Despite being 2mm slimmer than its predecessor, the DM15 delivers a massive 1100mW+1100mW at 32Ω via the 4.4mm balanced output in Desktop Mode — a 67% increase over the DM13. Single-ended output delivers 295mW+295mW. Combined with 24 sound effect combinations including 3 bass levels, 8 EQs, and a special “RETRO” tuning mode, the DM15 pairs brilliantly with both sensitive IEMs and demanding full-sized headphones.
The DM15 goes far beyond a standard CD player. Rip your CDs directly to a FAT32 USB flash drive in uncompressed WAV format while you listen. Use it as a digital transport via Coaxial or Optical output. Connect it as a HiFi USB DAC to your PC, laptop, phone, or tablet. Use it as a Bluetooth receiver. The DM15 adapts to every scenario in your setup.
Powered by Qualcomm’s QCC3086 Bluetooth chip, the DM15 supports aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX Low Latency, and SBC — enabling stable, lag-free high-resolution wireless transmission to your Bluetooth headphones or speakers.
The high-capacity 4700mAh (3.85V) pure cobalt lithium battery delivers over 6 hours of CD playback and over 9 hours in USB mode. FiiO’s patented Desktop Mode completely isolates the battery when powered via USB-C, protecting long-term battery health while delivering rock-solid performance. The ESP (Electronic Shock Protection) system ensures stable playback even on the move.
The DM15’s chassis is crafted from all-aluminum alloy with a transparent tempered glass top panel — offering a window into the disc mechanism below. The custom CD mechanism features a self-rebounding steel ball design for smooth disc handling and stable, lag-free reading. A high-definition 0.96” LCD screen completes the premium user experience.
