TRN Baiji 10mm Wood-Dome Dynamic Driver In-Ear Monitors

TRN Baiji In-Ear Monitors

The TRN Baiji combines a 10mm wood-dome composite diaphragm with a dual-magnetic dynamic driver, a redesigned acoustic chamber and zinc alloy housings. Inspired by the baiji, the Yangtze River dolphin, these wired in-ear monitors are designed to deliver natural warmth, smooth detail and an immersive presentation.

Key Features

• 10mm wood-dome composite diaphragm with natural internal damping.
• Dual-magnetic dynamic driver for controlled diaphragm movement.
• Redesigned acoustic chamber to manage airflow and unwanted resonance.
• High-density zinc alloy housing with precision CNC finishing.
• Detachable hybrid cable with 0.78mm 2-pin connectors.
• Preformed over-ear hooks for a secure fit.
• Six pairs of ear tips: T-Tips and balanced tips in S/M/L sizes.
• Microphone and no-microphone versions; select your preferred option.

Natural Warmth from a Wood-Dome Diaphragm

The diaphragm dome is formed from an ultrathin slice of selected wood. Precision treatment and forming preserve its natural fibre structure while improving rigidity and stability. The porous fibres provide internal damping to help unwanted vibrations decay quickly, supporting a clean note finish, smooth treble and focused detail.

For a quiet evening with favourite vocal tracks or a longer listening session, Baiji is tuned to combine a warm, relaxed character with clarity rather than heavy bass or softened definition. Sound impressions vary with ear tips, fit, source and personal preference.

10mm Dual-Magnetic Dynamic Driver

A dual-magnetic circuit provides controlled movement of the 10mm diaphragm. Working with the wood dome and acoustic chamber, it is designed for responsive transients, bass depth and lively dynamics while keeping vocals, instruments and spatial cues distinct.

Redesigned Acoustic Chamber

TRN refined the chamber through acoustic simulation and repeated 3D-printed prototypes, adjusting its shape and volume to complement the diaphragm. The structure guides airflow and helps reduce standing waves and unwanted resonance for more cohesive transitions between bass, mids and treble.

Zinc Alloy Housings Inspired by the Baiji

The baiji-inspired shells use high-density zinc alloy with precision CNC finishing. Their rigid construction helps limit housing vibration and resonance that can colour the sound, while providing a durable exterior.

Detachable Hybrid Cable & Plug Options

The braided cable combines high-purity oxygen-free copper and silver-plated conductors. Detachable 0.78mm 2-pin connectors allow cable replacement or the use of compatible accessories. The manufacturer's plug system uses a screw-lock connection for a secure fit.

Version notice: The manufacturer's range includes 3.5mm, 4.4mm and USB-C plug options, depending on the package. This listing currently distinguishes microphone and no-microphone versions. Do not assume that all three plugs are included; confirm the supplied termination before ordering if you require a specific connection.

Comfortable Over-Ear Fit

Preformed ear hooks follow the natural curve of the ears and distribute support around them rather than relying on the ear canals alone. Choose from the included T-Tips and balanced ear tips to find a comfortable seal and secure fit for everyday listening.

TRN Audio App & DSP Features

The supplied manufacturer information describes TRN Audio App presets, community tuning profiles and visual parametric EQ with control over filter type, frequency, gain and Q factor. Compatible DSP hardware can save tuning profiles, and the original response curve provides an on-screen reference during adjustment.

DSP compatibility: These features require a compatible USB-C DSP cable or plug and a supported device/app setup. They are not inherent features of a passive 3.5mm or 4.4mm connection. A compatible DSP accessory is not confirmed as included with either current microphone option.
