The name “Yaksha” originates from the ancient guardian beings in Buddhist cosmology — subordinates of the Heavenly King Vaisravana. Known for their mystical nature and dual personalities of both protection and power, Yakshas dwell among celestial groves, temples, valleys, and even deserted palaces. This spiritual symbolism is at the heart of the Yaksha IEM design.
Inspired by the mythical and ever-changing form of the Yaksha — sometimes a lion, sometimes a towering human figure with multiple faces — the Celest Yaksha reflects traits of speed, power, mystery, and transformation. These are translated into both the striking exterior and the dynamic, richly layered sound performance of the earphone.
The Yaksha's dual nature — divine protector and fierce spirit — inspired a tuning that balances forceful dynamics, full-bodied mids, extended highs, and a dark, immersive background. The tuning uses the Harman curve as its base and blends multiple driver types to create a fast, controlled, and emotional soundscape.
