The ONIX Tocata XM2 is a compact portable Hi-Fi music player that merges ONIX’s signature design language with a practical, pocket-friendly form factor. Built for listeners who want a focused music experience without phone distractions, XM2 delivers high-end decoding, strong headphone drive, and modern streaming options — all housed in a durable aluminium body.
Inspired by the larger Overture XM5 (pure music platform) and the compact Waltz XM10 (trend-setting dimensions), the Tocata XM2 combines both approaches into an affordable, practical portable player — bringing unmistakable ONIX quality to a new level of compactness.
Tocata XM2 is the first ONIX model to implement the flagship Cirrus Logic CS4308P — a brand-new 8-channel DAC enabling a fully balanced circuit and delivering a significant sound quality upgrade over older Cirrus Logic chipsets.
Backed by ONIX’s in-house developed “Brighton” I/V conversion circuit and a pair of SGM amplifiers, XM2 delivers strong output power while maintaining low output impedance suitable even for sensitive IEMs.
Powered by the Ingenic X2000 platform and an in-house developed system, Tocata XM2 is built for the most demanding listeners: quick, focused, and free of modern smartphone distractions.
