This X18 DAC is much better sounding than the cheaper X16. I highly recommend it. Bass is tight and impactful with great dynamics and extension. Midrange is rich with excellent instrument layering and detail. Soundstage has great width and depth. Treble is refined, extended, very smooth, and without any grain present. The sound quality is just spectacular.
