TangZu XuanWu Gate II combines a 10mm self-developed wood diaphragm dynamic driver, four customized balanced armature drivers, and four Sonion electrostatic drivers in a detailed nine-driver-per-side design. Its full-copper acoustic cavity, Chinese-inspired relief faceplate, and swappable 3.5mm/4.4mm plug system make it a versatile choice for serious Hi-Fi listening.
The XuanWu Gate II evolves TangZu's flagship concept with a substantial full-copper acoustic cavity and a faceplate inspired by the lion-head pushou found on Tang Dynasty royal gates. Auspicious cloud motifs, an aged-bronze finish, and flowing side textures bring traditional Chinese visual details into a modern high-fidelity earphone design.
The 10mm wood diaphragm dynamic driver provides a warm, natural foundation. Four customized balanced armatures handle midrange and high-frequency detail, while four Sonion electrostatic drivers add precision, openness, and atmosphere to the upper frequencies. The drivers work together through a coordinated crossover design for a cohesive presentation.
The included cable supports both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced connections through its swappable plug system. Use the 3.5mm plug with everyday audio devices, or switch to the 4.4mm plug when using a compatible balanced Hi-Fi source.
The shell curvature and nozzle angle are shaped for a secure fit during extended listening, while the included eartips help improve comfort and isolation. The standardized 0.78mm 2-pin connector also makes future cable replacement and upgrades straightforward.
A new tariff system will take effect across all 27 EU member states starting 1 July 2026. The EU is abolishing the duty exemption for low-value parcels — all goods entering the EU will now be subject to customs duties, including a fixed duty of €3 per HS tariff code category for IOSS-declared goods under €150.
