What I liked- nicely presented packaging, leather-look case a big plus. Nice solid build quality, but a bit heavy. Very nice cable that includes a neck cinch slider..not all iem’s have this, also a nice selection of eartips. Sound quality-wise, & this is of course subjective- I was expecting a fuller, more dynamic, warmer sound, but the Gimlet is to me, lacking in mid bass giving it a colder, more analytical presence…not what I expected from a $60 iem…not a lot,but I have a $23 set of CCA CRA iem’s I prefer over these. Maybe can be helped by a bit of Eq. I listen to mostly Jazz, & Progressive Rock, & try to seek out well recorded music because I feel that has the largest effect on the way speakers, earphones will sound.
